Narrative Therapy is a respectful and collaborative approach to resolving problems in your life. It regards you as the expert in your own life and view problems as separate from you. A major concept in narrative therapy is that you are never the problem rather you have a problem. In this way you don’t have to change your nature. Instead, you have to fight the influence of the problem on your life. Narrative therapy regards these problems as manufactured in social, cultural and political contexts within you produce meaning of your life from the stories that are available in these contexts. What this means is the way you frame your life, and what you emphaise, changes how you experience and live it.
